Biography
Kevin Smith was born in Spartanburg, SC. After attending college at Hampden-Sydney in Virginia, he worked in marketing and advertising in both South Carolina and New York City. He is currently a partner at Riggs Partners.
Artist Statement
Every painting contains a story. Painting with oil allows me to examine an object, figure, or location’s impact on the viewer’s thoughts. I strive to depict relaxation, enjoyment and life lived well.
